Leda Costa van Putten is a photographer and art therapist in training based in New York City.
Her work moves between documentary, therapeutic, and socially engaged practices, exploring how image-making intersects with mental health and collective care.
Leda is currently pursuing her Master’s in Art Therapy at New York University and interning at the Living Museum at Creedmoor Psychiatric Center. She holds a degree in psychology from Harvard University and a certificate in visual journalism and documentary practice from the International Center of Photography, where she was the 2015–2016 Documentary Arts Fellow. Her photographic work has spanned editorial, environmental, and community-based projects, with a consistent interest in resilience, representation, and the aesthetics of the everyday.
